OUR PROCESS

How a Custom Millwork Project Works

  1. Consultation and measurement

Leo visits the space, takes precise measurements, and discusses the design intent and material preferences.

  2. Drawings and proposal

You receive a written proposal with material specifications. For complex built-ins, Leo provides simple dimensional drawings so you can visualize the finished piece.

  3. Material procurement

Wood, sheet goods, and hardware are sourced and staged before the installation date is scheduled.

  4. Fabrication and installation

Most millwork is fabricated on-site to account for walls that aren't perfectly plumb or square. We build and install in one continuous scope.

  5. Finishing

Depending on the project, We deliver paint-ready surfaces (primed, filled, sanded) or apply a stain and topcoat finish in the field.
